The doctor was phenomenal, Im little hard of hearing so with his heavy accent, I needed the asstant to explain some of what he was saying. Other than that it was a good experience.

Dr.Chow listened and responded to my concerns. He explained things and came up with a reasonable answer to my issue. He went beyond that and called me at home to ensure that I wasnt using a mouthwash that possibly irritated my gums. Very impressed with him and his general concern for me.

Dr. Chow is amazing. He has great chair-side manner and I felt really comfortable with him. I had a complicated situation and he was so competent in responding to everything. He was gentle and helped me get through what was a difficult process and procedure. He even checked in with later that night and gave me his number in case I had any concerns. He is my new favorite dentist.

Dr. Chow was really amazing. We had to postpone my extraction but he explained everything to me really well. He described what would constitute an emergency over the weekend and then gave me his cell phone number to contact in case anything serious came up while waiting for my Monday appointment. He had really good bedside manner and was apologetic about the pain I was having. I really like Dr. Chow!

The dentist I saw was very informative, but I had to ask questions - basically, detailed information about the procedure was not offered to me unless I asked specific questions about it. I only knew what to ask (recovery time, billing, etc) because I had done research prior to my appointment. Several things were not explained to me, however (do I need a follow up appointment to remove stitches? When can I brush after the procedure? What foods to avoid? Etc)

Dr Chow always makes me feel comfortable and at ease in the chair. He lets me know what is going on during the procedure and always makes sure he answers my questions if I have them. Dr. Chow is not only an amazing dentist, but a very caring person. He gave me his cell phone number and the ability to call or text him if any issues arose after my procedure. He also called me at home the evening of my procedure to make sure everything was OK. The next morning, I had a concern and he fit me into his busy schedule to address my issue. I wish I had more teeth for him to put implants into! Lol!

He was very professional, kind, informative, and patient with me and all of my questions. He informed me of what was happening and going to be happening as the procedure went on. He checked on me throughout to make sure that I was doing OK, which I found very comforting. I felt like a human being rather than a number. He was a very good doctor. He conducted a follow up phone call to check on me which was awesome. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Chow is always very kind and patient with me and takes the time to address my concerns. He also gives me chances to relax and stretch my jaw during procedures so that my TMJ feels better. Dr. Chow showed confidence and how much he cared about me as a patient. I was experiencing extreme anxiety, and Dr. Chow took measures to make sure I was calm before my surgery started. During my sedation, I had a negative reaction to the medication which partially put me under. My anxiety caused me to become very stressed and scared from the reaction. Dr. Chow and his staff were with me the entire time, talking me through it and reassuring me that Id be okay. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Chow would ask me if I was still doing okay, or if I was experiencing any pain. I appreciated Dr. Chows phone call in the evening to check-in to see how I was doing. I also wanted to add that he had a great sense of humor with myself and my husband. I would definitely trust him in the future with any of my dental needs.

Dr. Chow rushed right into sticking a cotton swab into my mouth, jabbing around and then without telling me proceeded to give me the shots of Novocain. He then walked out to return 10 min later. The few directions he gave me during the procedure were hard to understand and he was impatient, not giving me time to respond to him. I couldnt tell whether he was talking to me or his assistant most of the time.

The only suggestion I have is that the discharge instructions be put in writing and handed to patient and reviewed while doctor is discussing. There was a little language barrier that caused some confusion.

worst dental experience I have ever had. Dr Chouw manhandled my mouth, pushed my face around then asked me to turn my head. worst of all, he burped at least 30 Times During the procesure with his face inches from mine. unbelievably disgusting. announces at the end that my teeth can be saved (no one up till then had told me that was an issue). Im 58 yrs old and have had a lot of dental experiences but this was the rudest and grossest. BTW, during his check, he never asked if I was comfortable or ok.

Dr. Chows English is hard for me to understand, but he tries very hard to explain everything in detail. I have been very satisfied with Dr. Chow and he tries so hard to make sure the patient understands. I do not know if he always has the same person but the day I was there it was James. I have hearing aids but everything is not corrected so this might only my trouble in Understanding. He checked frequently to make sure I was doing OK.

This was a yearly visit after I had undergone 3 cleanings the year before to check my progress! I kept asking if my teeth were better. He gave "Mixed" messages! At one point he said "Well, the damage is done!" Then after saying that he said "Yes, your teeth are much better." Which leads me to believe I should keep coming for 3-4 cleanings per year because it's an issue of spending money there!? Which is it? Damage is done OR my teeth are better?!!!! The statement of "the damage is done" was very discouraging & left me wondering what the 3 to 4 cleanings per year are for????

I have seen many dentists before but, Dr. Chou has been the most sensitive and determined to making sure that all my teeth are taken care of in the best possible manner. He truly cares and is extremely talented and knowledgeable. I feel very fortunate to be in his care.

Dr. Chow was fabulous he called me several times after the procedure to ensure I was OK that is great! He's availability is very limited to 1 day a week.

It's hard to understand. The first thing he did was walk in and insult my front teeth. I have white spots since a child on my front teeth and he asked me why I don't have them fixed - before he even introduced himself. He pretty much told me there is no treatment for my peridontal disease.

I have a serious kidney disease which seriously puts me at risk for infections. Basically any infection is my body takes a long time to heal, tends to develop much worse, and runs the risk of finding it's way into my kidneys and bloodstream very quickly. Yet, he didn't seem to take any extra precautions with how he treated me. It takes a lot of effort for me to stay healthy. Having the extraction has thrown my health way off. He never mentioned the possibility of this. In fact, he told me the procedure was no big deal and i'd be in and out in an hour. He had a "piece of cake" attitude. Well, maybe for him but for me the whole thing is still not healed 2 weeks later and I couldn't do anything the first 4 days. I was stuck in bed basically. He should have discussed what I could expect instead of treating me like a child and saying it was all going to be fine. I had to cancel lots of my plans because I wasn't given a realistic idea of what to expect after the tooth extraction.

I had a consultation with Dr. Chow where he explained all of my options and answered all of my questions. On the day of my appointment, I felt like I was taking excellent care of. No one looks forward to getting a tooth extracted, but Dr. Chow made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole procedure and beyond.

I look forward to going back to Dr. Chow to thank him for all of his help. While getting an implant is not the most enjoyable experience, I would recommend any to go to Dental Associates/Dr. Chow because I believe he made it the best experience it could be.

I would say that I am beyond impressed in Dental Associates and Dr. Chow's concern for my well being. During the procedure, Dr. Chow checked on how was doing often and explained each procedure. Afterwards, I was in a great deal of pain as expected and the medication I was prescribed did not seem to have any effect. My husband called and he was given many options/remedies that may help. Dr. Chow then followed up with me and I was still not feeling any relief. He prescribed a different medication that did help with the pain. He then followed up later that night and the next day to check on my progress. I was overwhelmed by the genuine concern of Dr. Chow to make sure I was comfortable after the procedure!

Needed one tooth extracted. I called for the appointment on March 12th. I was told the first opening at the Burleigh office was mid May,and that I could get in at the Kenosha office the first week of April. I asked about Franklin office and they had opening on March 24....You need more dentists !!!!!

Procedure took much longer then necessary. Equipment malfunction had to change room the first assistant was snobbish and had a condescending attitude. Mistake was made for the kind of treatment I requested and what the chart showed.

Dentist is foreign & his accent is hard to understand. When his assistant would explain so I understood - - he treated her as if she was interrupting, not clarifying so the patient understood. Perhaps it is a culture thing.

Dr. Chow's English is pretty good but with my hearing difficulties we had to work together. Overall I'm confident he will complete the implant correctly.
