Dental Associates Earns Seal of Integrity from Press Ganey

Dental Associates, Wisconsin’s largest family-owned dental group practice, has earned Press Ganey’s Seal of Integrity, based on its data transparency for sharing patient evaluations of its dentists and clinics on the Dental Associates website.
In 2014, Dental Associates implemented an online system to post patient ratings and reviews of its clinics and dentists. Press Ganey, a thought leader in patient experience measurement and performance improvement solutions, conducts the independent patient surveys.
The Seal of Integrity validates the reliability of Dental Associates’ data transparency program and assures patients that the performance ratings posted online are scientifically rigorous. To receive the Seal of Integrity, a health care organization must be verified by Press Ganey to have met data standards that reflect the following requirements:
- Measures have been tested in national validation studies to ensure reliability, predictive validity and construct validity
- 100 percent validation of patient responses
- Compliance with one standardized star calculation method
- Assurance of 30 or more survey returns per provider
- Complete reporting of every survey response
- Posting of all comments; suppressing or redacting only those containing confidential or libelous information or those with feedback unrelated to the provider or patient experience during the visit
